A West Coast native, this broad leaf evergreen is a great addition to the back edge of mixed plantings. It is fast growing, and extremely drought tolerant. It is completely covered in blue blossoms in spring, and very attractive to pollinators also. In coastal areas needs full sun. Prefers good drainage, and little to no water after the first few years of establishment. It is a nitrogen fixer, hardy to zone 8a or below
