This fuchsia is covered with hummingbird attracting red flowers from mid summer until fall. It is hardy to zone 7, below 25 degrees or so it will die back some, or even to the ground. In spring it will re-grow. It prefers moist, humus rich, well drained soil, and some shade. However it will accept poorer soil and is quite drought tolerant in temperate regions.
